This morning at the Manns Chinese Theater in Hollywood ab1839 was signed by Governor Jerry Brown.
This bill, as most of you know, will increase, starting next year, the allocation for incentives from 100 million annually to 330 million annually for 5 years and bring thousand of jobs back to California.
This will be the second largest annual allocation of tax credits in the Country.
It includes allocations for larger budget films and network television which the current program does not.
Much more will be reported today and in the weeks to come about the details of the program but for now we want to thank all of you that signed the petition, wrote countless letters, made phone calls to your representatives in Sacramento and came to the rallies. It really made all the difference.
As the Governor and the others who spoke today said this is all about jobs and the workers and bringing and keeping them home in California where they belong.
