CD 25 District Kick-Off Rally & Precinct Walk: Standing Up for Working People

February 3, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

We will be joining forces in 2018 with the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO and other organizations that are part of the Leadership Council to fight for working people in the 25th Congressional District. In our research last year surrounding Right-to-Work it became apparent that Congressman Steve Knight is not on the side of Union Members and has continually voted against the interests of working people over the course of his time in office. Further research showed that a majority of our Membership actually lives in his district and is affected by his anti-worker reputation. Check your representatives here.

The California Federation of Labor has set up a great tool to see your California Legislators scorecard and how they measure up in the fight for working people. Check out Steve Knight’s voting record here.

Congressman Steve Knight is bad for working people, and we need Union Members to help hold him accountable. If you want to join the fight, we invite you to walk with us on February 3rd. This rally and precinct walk will be just the start to a larger effort to get a labor friendly Congressional leader in this seat during the 2018 midterms. Even if you don’t live in the 25th District we can still use the support of our Members to stand up for working people everywhere.
