IBT General President Hoffa Will Be In Attendance at Our General Membership Meeting on Sunday!
We are excited to announce that we received word from the International that General President James P. Hoffa will be joining us at our Local 399 Quarterly Membership Meeting THIS Sunday at Pickwick Gardens (January 27th at 8AM).
Mr. Hoffa will be joined by Tom O’Donnell, President of Teamsters Local 817 New York, as well as The Director of the Motion Picture Division for the International. Joint Council President Randy Cammack and other prominent Teamster Leaders will be in attendance. We look forward to sharing the great accomplishments of our Membership over the course of the past year, as well as setting the stage for the New Year.
If you are a New Member and have yet to be sworn in, we strongly encourage you to join us at this meeting where we have asked President Hoffa to deliver the Teamster oath and swear in our new Sisters and Brothers.
Barry Broad, our State Lobbyist, will also be in attendance as we honor him on his retirement. Barry was instrumental in helping us shepherd the film tax credit through the Legislature. We looking forward to hearing his parting thoughts regarding the fight for working people and working families both Locally and Nationally.
It is a great honor to have General President Hoffa join us at our 1st Quarterly Meeting of the year. We hope that you will be able to make this meeting a priority to attend to show our International that Hollywood is Teamster Strong.
Lastly, please remember any proposed By-Law changes must be submitted at this meeting.
