This Member is attempting to mislead the membership into believing his website is actually coming from Local 399. Concerned that certain Facebook and MySpace pages set up by one of its members could be confused with official pages of Local 399 or were not being used for a full and fair debate of issues facing the Local, Local 399 had its attorneys write to the member and to Facebook and MySpace. Although Local 399 has no problem with members using its name in the body or content of such pages, the use of its name in the title can only be done with the permission of Local 399.
