Port Drivers are organizing to become Teamsters and are winning the battle over illegal misclassifications however the trucking companies contine to illegally fire, harass, and iniminate workers.
We NEED our Members to help support the Port Drivers in the strikes taking place THIS week.
DETAILS FOR VOLUNTEERING:
Date of Stikes: July 8th, July 9th, July 10th
Strike Shifts: 6AM-2PM, 1PM-9PM, 8PM-3AM (These are the shift times for ALL 3 days)
Meet at Local 848 located at: 3888 Cherry Ave. // Long Beach // CA // 90807
A shuttle driver will be taking volunteers to the location. If you cannot stay for an entire shift and wish to drive yourself, please still meet at Local 848 first.
