REMINDER: MPI Changes to Pharmacy Benefits Effective January 1st, 2021
With the New Year approaching, we want to remind Local 399 Members covered under MPIHP of the upcoming changes to your Pharmacy Benefit. After significant research, careful consideration and a thorough cost / benefit analysis by MPIHP, the Motion Picture Industry Health Plan (“MPIHP”) will partner with CVS Caremark for your pharmacy benefits effective JANUARY 1, 2021. CVS Caremark will replace Express Scripts for MPIHP’s Active Participants and non-Medicare eligible Retirees.
MPIPHP has put together an extensive FAQ to help participants understand the upcoming changes and answer as many anticipated questions as possible. This FAQ sheet was mailed to all MPI participants, however you can review a digital version here as well.
